Fun At The Manor House Summer Fayre

Residents, family, friends and members of the local community enjoyed the annual Summer Fayre in the gardens at The Manor House, Gosforth on Saturday 5 July.

Local scouts from Brunton Park set up a coconut shy, medieval stocks and hook a duck. Expert face painting delighted younger visitors too.

Stalls selling books, cakes, handmade crafts, clothes and organic honey were well supported and people could also try their luck with the tombola and raffle.

Our catering staff made a mountain of delicious cakes plus sausage rolls and quiches, which were served with tea and coffee in the bistro with piano accompaniment by Keith Pullman one of our volunteers,” said fayre organiser and lifestyle coordinator for The Manor House Allison Lawton.

“There was a really lovely atmosphere. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were activities for everyone, young and old.
