Deputy Manager Joy Joins The Manor House Gosforth

Joy Wylie has joined the team at The Manor House Gosforth as deputy manager. Joy's whole career has been dedicated to the care sector since she began working as a care assistant in 1992.

"Care is such a rewarding job, no two days are the same," said Joy. "You have to be a naturally friendly person with a flexible approach. I've made some fabulous friendships over the years with residents and their families too.

"At The Manor House Gosforth we want to continue improving our service to keep building on our outstanding rating. I'm thrilled to be able to contribute to that."

Home manager Suzanne Mason said: "We are delighted that Joy is part of the team. Joy has excellent experience and understands the importance of each care role in providing the highest standards of care for our residents. She also understands the support our staff need and how to help develop and nurture them in their careers.
