First Summer Fair for The Manor House Harrogate

The Manor House Harrogate hosted its first summer fair on Saturday 29 June in glorious sunny weather.

Everyone enjoyed browsing various stalls with homemade bread and cakes and arts and craft items, alongside fair favourites such as the tombola. For lunch the home chefs created a delicious hot and cold buffet with a whole range of sweet treats. Musical entertainment was provided in the garden by ukelele band the Spa Town Ukes.

Pennie Metcalfe, lifestyle coordinator at The Manor House said: "The day couldn't have been more perfect for our first major summer event, helping to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It was a great opportunity for our residents, families and staff to welcome people from our local community to share our beautiful home and garden, and to make new friends."

The Manor House opened to residents in November 2018.
