Claire Begins New Care Role at The Manor House Gosforth

Claire Wilson has been promoted to deputy manager at The Manor House care home in Gosforth, Newcastle, part of Hadrian Healthcare Group.

Claire joined The Manor House last year as a principal senior carer and was previously a carer with Leonard Cheshire Homes for 11 years.

She said: “I’ve been working towards becoming a deputy manager for the last couple of years and I’m absolutely delighted to have got this post at The Manor House which is a beautiful home.

“We aim to provide the highest standard of person-centred care and there’s a lot of job satisfaction.”

Claire will soon complete a NVQ level 3 in management and progress to training for the next level by the end of the year.

Sandra Smith, manager at The Manor House said: “Claire’s experience in the care sector means she really understands our residents’ needs.

“We support and encourage all our staff to continue training and development, and we promote from within our teams wherever possible.”

The Manor House, which opened in 2010, provides residential and dementia care for elderly people. Hadrian Healthcare Group has eight care homes across the north of England.
