In September 2019 Jane was delighted the team received a tremendous “Outstanding” assessment for care by CQC Inspectors. The Manor House Whickham is one of the few Homes in Gateshead to have achieved this.

Each of our Residents enjoys luxurious private accommodation within small living groups which are specifically designed for them to maintain their independence, whilst having the comfort of knowing that 24-hour care is available and at hand whenever it is needed.
Dementia Care
Our specially designed Chesters accommodation provides luxurious surroundings that are homely, safe and stimulating. Our staff in Chesters are specially trained to help manage the unique needs of our residents suffering from varying degrees of dementia, ensuring personalized care at all times.
Respite Care
If you need a little help for a while or are convalescing after an illness or a hospital stay, respite care is available to give you all the support and care you require.
RESIDENTS’ BISTRO
If it is a coffee and a slice of cake you’d like during your visit, our Bistro is the perfect place to help yourself.
