Bill’s Big Wish

A very happy resident at The Manor House Whickham, had his wish fulfilled as he enjoyed a great day out at Newcastle United.

Bill Smith, who has been a lifelong supporter of ‘The Toon’, was given a very special tour of the grounds and all the areas fans don’t get to see, when he visited Newcastle United earlier this month.

The Activities Team at The Manor House Whickham arranged this event as a big surprise for Bill, and he thoroughly enjoyed his extra-special visit. Jane Tworkowski, Home Manager, said “It was great to be able to arrange this for Bill as he loves to talk about his favourite football team. Special memories were certainly made on the day”.
